Matter Launches ‘Aera 5000’ at 1.44 Lakhs

Ahmedabad-based start-up Matter Energy launches its first product, the Aera. Prices are Rs. 1.44 lakh for the 5,000 variant and Rs. 1.54 lakh for 5,000+ variant.

Features & Specification

The Aera have a 5kWh liquid-cooled battery with a claimed 125km real-world range. The motor puts out a claimed peak power of 10.5kW. With 180kg weight, the battery itself weighs approximately 40kg. Right now, it is the first and only electric bike with a 4-speed gearbox. 

The Aera 5000 gets an optional Bluetooth connectivity, park assist, keyless operation, OTA updates, progressive blinkers and welcome lights with 7-inch touch display. the 5000+ variant comes with Bluetooth connectivity as standard along with a lifestyle and care package. Matter hasn’t disclosed lifestyle and care package.
